• 1 – "Ride For Pink" Supporting the Cure! Maggie Valley Festival Grounds Maggie Valley. All the proceeds will go to support and fund mammograms in Western North Carolina. • 4 (through Dec. 24) — Great Smoky Mountains Railroad Polar Express Train Ride — The Polar Express comes to life when the train departs Bryson City for a journey to the North Pole. • 29 – Soweto Gospel Choir - This program of South African Gospel also includes elements of gospel-rock, gospel-influenced secular pop, and even a bit of Mozart. Expect earthy rhythms, rich harmonies, a capella numbers and an exciting band and percussion section, with energetic dancing and vibrant, colorful costumes. This young, dynamic choir performs both traditional and contemporary music, adding its own unique feel and interpretation to both. The choir performs in 6 of South Africa's 11 official languages.
